Lightweight, 3-Mode Rotary Hammer. SDS-PLUS Shank. Hammer and Rotation/Hammer Only/Rotation Only Features Quick Change Drill Chuck. Brushless DC motor with high power to weight and size ratio. Brushless DC motor generates less heat buildup and is ideal for prolonged use in high production applications. Quickly attaches to Makita’s DX02 dust extraction system for dustless drilling applications in sensitive work environments (DX02 sold separately).
Torque limiter stops bit rotation if bit jams for increased operator safety and enhanced tool protection. Rubber joint construction suppresses transmission of vibration to battery, minimizing battery failures due to terminal breakage or poor electrical contact. 40 angle bit positions enable chisels to be positioned at optimum angle of operation. Plastic housing bumper protects mode selector switch and gear housing from damage. One touch sliding chuck enables quick and easy bit changes. Ergonomic soft rubber grip design for vibration absorption and comfortable operation.
