Description

Makita TD110DZ 12V MAX Lithium-Ion 1/4-Inch Impact Driver

12V impact drivers such as Makita TD110DZ are better at driving self-tapping screws into metal and 3-inch diameter screws into wood. They are quite handy when using drywall screws. They also do an excellent job of driving short depth screws into masonry.

You can make small holes in light-gauge steel and soft wood with an impact driver using a standard hex-shank drill bit, but if you want to make holes larger than ¼ inch in heavy steel, hardwood, or pressure-treated lumber, you need a bit rated specifically for an impact driver.

Features:

  • Compact eXtreme Technology (CXT), Variable Speed, Reversible
  • Battery protection system provides over-discharge, temperature and circuit protection for enhanced performance, battery cycle life and overall battery life
  • LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow feature illuminates work area
  • Ergonomic soft rubber grip design for vibration absorption and comfortable operation
